We love to travel, but we do it in bits and pieces. Hopefully this website will allow me to write down where we've been so far and what we've seen.

Our trip to Hong Kong was a short one. Josh was there for work and I joined him for a couple of days before we returned home together.
My most treasured memory of Hong Kong has to be Josh and I sipping on a Starbucks Latte, enjoying the very pleasant almost cold weather, facing the Hong Kong skyline from Kowloon. It seemed as though the city just arose from the ocean and the lights of the buildings and those buildings on the hills just gave the entire city a very surreal look.
the next day we went for a tour around Hong Kong, up the Peak but it was sooo foggy so we didnt get to enjoy the skyline..but we did pass some huge houses of HongKong film stars..we passed the racing track, the Jumbo seafood restaurant..went to the obligatory diamond/jewellry factory..on a cruise to enjoy the Hong Kong skyline etc. The next couple of days I kept busy doing some work on my laptop that I'd brought along..I walked around the areas near the hotel..had meals on my own..and then at night josh and i used to go for dinner or just enjoy sitting by the seafront..weather was really nice and chilly then..
it was my first time seeing how people live in cramped overpriced spaces, I havent been to Japan but seeing stacks of appartment complexes .. with pigeon hole windows..and not that those were cheap appartments really gave me an appreciation of having open spaces around me wherever i have lived..but i guess the people there enjoy a different lifestyle and having been brought up in those homes they are probably used to living like that
All in all, it was a good trip . i liked Hong Kong, its people, its way of life..very fast..reminded me of a clean Mumbai :p
