Palolem Beach,... what shall I say? it's paradise pure... I arrived here the 13th of october and I just don't want to leave anymore. it is really great over here. the people are really nice, the wether is fantastic, the sea is great, not too warm and not too cold and everywhere you can get fresh juices and so nice food that I am wondering if I will ever get away from here. My day is like that: getting up as late as I can if there is no powercut which turns off the van...
then having breakfast and then it's beaching time. I am laying on the beach, going for a swim every half an hour and then lay on the beach again. you get your drinks delivered where you are laying and you pay your bill in the evening when you are off for a cold shower... after showering and creaming it's almost dinnertime. so I am wandering along the beach, searching for something where I am in the mood for and have it as well. it's really cheap around here and I can easily stick to my low budget...
I live in a little coco/hut and because it is shoulderseason (as the locals call it) it is only 150 rps (3 euro's) a night and it is great, normally they charge for the beachhuts about 700/800 rps. ok... back to my daily activities... after dinner I use to go to the cafe del mar... the only bar on the beach where you can hang around until the early morning and having half liter kingfishers for not even an euro...
so that's great. I meet always new people and I am just not getting bored. at the time most people are from england, australia and some from germany so it's great to chat around and making travelfriends. I met Nigel the other day which is an english guy and we spent like three days together. at this time he still had his motorbike and we were driving around to Agonda beach and the other day to patnem beach. at Patnem beach they had a great beachshag where you could get georgeus drinks and a lovely cheese tomato mushroom garlic sandwich which was my favorite...
yeah... so the days are flying buy and I have no idea when I will move on.... at this time I actually can't really be bothered. at one stage I wanna go down to kerala but on the other hand it's just paradise here.
by the way, I am not sick anymore, the tablets helped in the end. I might just get me more of those...
Hope you are all doing fine...
