Cambodia 2004

Travel time: July / August 2004  |  by Christian Werner

Chong Kneas

Because of the bad street conditions in Cambodia (the UNESCO calls them the worst streets in the world together with the Democratic Republic of Kongo and Sierra Leone) we decided to use the speedboat going to Phnom Penh. The first few hundred meters we enjoyed our journey through the boat town fishing village of Chong Kneas, before we moved on across the Tonle Sap lake. With this impressions we left Siem Reap and the temples of Angkor and enjoyed our 5 hours journey to the Cambodian capital.
