All good things come in threes.

Vang Vieng

Sullied Eden or hedonist paradise ? Vang Vieng is a jaw dropper for sure. Should you have been to Vang Vieng already a few years ago, you will now be surprised to find a completley developed "tourist town". Small bungalow colonies can now be found at the banks of the river. 4 years ago there was simply nothing.

Witness the serenity of the saw -toothed mountains jutting up like the ragged back of a stegosaurus. The stunnig limestone karst around Vang Vieng is honeycombed with tunnels and caverns. A lot to do also for people who do not want to go tubing. Take a boat trip instead to explore the beautiful countryside.

The village temple is always a highlight. Beautiful temples everywhere also in Vang Vieng. And the foreigner in me wants to stay longer in super cute Laos to see more of those and to see more orange clad Buddhist monks.
