Day 11 - May, 14.
My train to Kuala Lumpur was on time, so there was no time to sleep long. Then I took the monorail to come to Casa Embon, a small backpacker hostel in the city. After searching 30 minutes I found it, because the way explanation from the monorail station was completly wrong on the internet.
But this hostel was really good, cheap and friendly.
After some breakfast I walked around in this amazing city. When you think you are standing in front of the 430 meter high Petronas Twin Towers you wonder why you walk 10 minutes to the front of this building.
Then I drove up with a high-speed-elevator on the TV Tower, where you have a grand view over the city from 270 meters. An audio guide explains you everything you see.
On the evening I went with Sandra, a german girl, to the China Marked, where you can buy many "original" clothes. All the guys selling a lot of trash are importunately. On the evening I was very tired after nighttrain-driving and seeing this big city for the whole day.
Day 12 - May, 15.
After sleeping long I wasted some time and then I visited more of this city with all its skyscrapers and big shopping centers and drove on the monorail again. Later I went to the telephone museum, some advertising of the Malay Telecom Company and I think they are more modern then the phone companies in Germany.
Then I was in the Time Square, a mega shopping center with 12 floors and theme park with rollercoaster, bowling center, cinemas, restaurants and many more.
Day 13 - May, 16.
On the morning I went with two Canadians I met in the hostel to the Batu Caves nearby to Kuala Lumpur, where many monkeys are living.
Later the Canadians preferred to watch TV, but I do not want to fly 10.000 kilometers just to see satellite TV.
So I went to the theme park in the Time Square shopping center, where I bought a ticket for the rollercoaster. With one ticket you can use the rollercoaster and some other attractions for one day and after driving on the rollercoaster three times I felt a little bit bad
Later I went into the multiplex fridge, where I watched Triple X - The Next Level in original sound. After freezing because of this Triple Xtreme Air Conditioning not many people have been left in this shopping center. This shopping center is much too big and not using 3% of its capacity. Many spaces for shops are empty.
Day 14 - May, 17.
On the morning I bought a ticket for the night train to Wakaf Bharu. Afterwards I walked to the West part of Kuala Lumpur where I found a Hindu temple, some mosques and a catholic church. Malaysia has a multi cultural religion and all people are living together in peace, that is great!
Later I visited the observatory, a orchideen park and the butterfly park.
On the afternoon there was a big tropical rainstorm. So I decided to drink a coffee at The Golden M nearby.
On my way back to the hostel I visited the china marked one more time and took some pictures of the Time Square Shopping Center.
In the hostel the owner allowed me to use the shower one more time (Thank You Hostel Casa Embon for your good service).
Then I took the monorail one last time to the train station and at 8:05 pm my train to Wakaf Bharu departed. On the train I had my own bed again, very comfortable and payable.
