After buying a ticket for the slow boat they told us that there are not enough people for the slow boat and we have to take the fast boat one hour later with our slow tickets. That was great, so there was time for breakfast and the fast boat is one hour faster.
The boat took us to Long Beach and with some other backpackers I searched something cheap to sleep and we found some huts in the Rock Garden.

This island is a dream, no cars, no streets, nothing overcrowded, no public electricity, good restaurants, a nice beach and everything payable. On the evening we had a fish barbeque.

Day 17 - May, 20.

After sleeping long we explored the island by walking around, swimming and snorcheling. During the snorcheling you can see how the beautiful colors of the water are made, everywhere colored fishes and corals.
On the evening my Autan Moskito Spray was empty and that was very bad because on Perhenton Island are moskitos everywhere. I bought another Moskito Spray, but this did not really work.

Day 18 - May, 21.

I wanted to go on a snorcheling tour, but the weather was a little bit bad and they cancelled the tour
So I spent this day with a lot of swimming, relaxing, writing postcards and taking photos. On the evening I had a big last supper on the island, grilled tuna fish with banana juice and fried banana as dessert, very good.
Later we drunk some Whiskey-Cola and many people wanted to watch Satellite-TV in a bar, because there was a UEFA-Cup football game Manchester vs Arsenal.

Day 19 - May, 22.

After sleeping long I went with the very slow Slow-Boat back to the peer and then I shared a taxi with some other people back to Kota Bharu. The afternoon I spent some time on the internet to write on my diary and on the evening I took a taxi to the train station in Wakaf Bharu. At 8 pm my train to Singapore departed.

My result to the Island

Perhenton Island is really great!
But the moskitos are terrible, I think I had a few hundred moskito bites.
