Following masses of preperation my trip of a lifetime was finally a reality. Beginning in the adventurous New Zealand, before taking in delights of Australia over Christmas. Bali was next on the agenda, trading in the comfort of the West for drastic cultural differences of East Asia. The modern city of Singapore next acted as a stepping stone for travel over-land through Malaysia and island-hopping around Thailand. My Adventure finally ended amongst the neon scyscrapers of Hong Kong.

Traveling solo for the first time, I headed across Thailand and over to Koh Samui. The hotel here was very relaxing, especially until Tim arrived with the beers!
Samui was a favourite of mine due to it's good beaches, nightlife and plenty to see and do including the big Buddha temple and the many transvestite cabaret shows (certainly an experience!)
We also hired Jet Ski's here (cool eh!) and chilled on the beach on sun loungers watching the sunset with the comfort of some ice cold Singha beer.
