After my extra-sleep in the airport I had a trip into the town centre and I was very angry about paying the 4-times higher price then a city ticket only for boarding this train at the Airport Station.

Then I visited the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House and did a walk over the Harbour Bridge to North Town. But Noth Town was not so interesting and I did a train trip back over the Harbour Bridge to the inner city to explore a Laundromat for my tropical damp smelling clothes in plastic backs in my backpack and China Town. After having a coffee against my tiredness in The Golden M I drove to Newtown Station to met Damien from the Hospitality Club, but Damian was not there. After calling him he had no time, not so funny and this was my first experience with the Hospitality Club.
So I bought a ticket back to the inner city and went to this hostel I have seen beside this laundromat.
On this evening I met some Germans in this hostel, but I went to bed early, bacause I was very tired.

Day 23, May 26

After a long night to have a reset sleep and breakfast I did a new experiment to meet Damien but this was a waste of 2 tickets again. After this nonsence driving I decided to stay in this hostel for all the time in Sydney because I did not want to carry my backpack the whole day again.
So I walked to Darling Harbour. For Olympia 2000 the construction of this area was improved. Then I decided to go into a supermarked to buy some noodles and sauce because Australia is too expensive to go into a restaurant three times a day like in Asia.
On the evening I did a home-call-session, because I had a very cheap callthrough-phone card.
Very interesting in the hostel was a German bringin weed from South Africa via Kuala Lumpur to Australia, weed in Malaysia, very courageously.

Day 24, May 27

This day I used to explore more of the city and the harbour. Later I did jogging in the Hyde Park. This big city is very interesting for walking around a lot.

Day 25, May 28

The morning I did a trip to the Olympic Park. For my brother I had to take a picture of the Telstra Olympic Stadium.
The afternoon I visited the Botanic Garden. It is very big with a lot of theme gardens like a Palm or a Kaktus Garden. At the end I visited the sunset behind the harbour bridge from the end of the Botanic Garden.

The first quarter of my trip is over now and three quarters are left! I am not feeling home sick now But I dream a lot about home in the night.
