Day 36 - June 8
Today I had to say Good Bye to the Outback. On the morning I had a tea with Marie from Switzerland and then the bus to the airport departed.
Then I had my flight to Melbourne, where I arrived on the afternoon.
In Melbourne I met Steph from the Hospitality Club. Many friendly people to explain the complicated way to find her house.
Day 37, June 9
Steph had ha lot to do for her studies, so I decided to explore Melbourne on my own. But first I used her computer with the super-fast-internet connection to upload a lot of pictures to my german diary.
Melbourne-City is very interesting to see for one day. I did a trip with this old Circle Line Tram. I also have been to the Docklands and all of the inner city.
On the evening I discussed with Steph about travelling in Europe, she already did Interrail in Europe.
Day 38, June 10
Today I had to change my accomodation because Steph had no more time. So I went to the Victoria Hotel Backpackers. Then I booked a tour for 3 days to the Grampians National Park and The Great Ocean Road for 165$ excl. food and accomodation.
On the afternoon I visited the Royal Botanic Gardens. On the way a tram before my tram crahed and blocked the railway. But the rest of the way was not very long to walk. On the way back I had luck with the tram.
The evening I spent in the Sauna, the hostel was in a hotel and in this hotel was a Sauna and Pool and this was included for every guest. Later I watched some TV, a relaxing evening.
