Travelogue : France 2006

Well, it's almost time to go home, but I really did intend to work on the travelogue while we were here. The event was TOTALLY crazy. We had 2500 people attend over the course of the weekend. It was definitely great, but left little time or energy for writing.

So, there's my excuse....I will try to catch up.

The MTG world championships were in Paris this year. After Paris, we went to see my friend Kate and her family in the South of France.

Tuesday was the second day of load in and then a big party in the evening. Renee had hired my friend Kate and her buddy Seb to sing at the party, so they came up from the South of France on the train. The party went really well, as did the rest of the preparations for the show. I didn't get off work until about 10pm, so we just sat around and had drinks in the hotel room afterward.

Ray arrived on Tuesday. He was already in Europe touring around Germany and Amsterdam. His company sent him to Germany the week before and he decided to just stay and see the sights instead of coming home.
