A pictorial entry, well, mostly...
Our little friend we visited every day while here in Cologne
When bored, strange thoughts often wander into my head.
I decided to dare Adam to casually walk outside, press his face up to the window and just stare straight in at the couple having lunch. But, he had to do it with a serious expression so they would think he was a creeper.
But, the lady just laughed, and they were actually good sports about it. She even tries to bang her fist against Adam's face from her side of the glass.
So nice when people still have a sense of humor
This guy covered Bob Marley songs horribly all around town
We missed American food SO much, so this was a necessity.
Proof that lighting does matter! hahahha
With Uncle Fester, haha. I don't know why the lighting does not take to Adam very well.
Walking to the other side of Cologne, we discovered...
Ludwig! I love this name! (In vampire accent: "Hello, my name is Lud-wig")
Adam crosses over...finally!
One of my favorite pictures by far
From the other side
While Adam went gondola-riding, I walked back to the hostel and surfed the internet. While waiting in line to use the computer, a fellow hosteler started talking to me about my funky sunglasses. We got to chatting and Jason invited me to go see an underground concert tonight.
When Adam got back, we all met up and decided to go hit up the party scene...
Do we look like we're ready to party or what?!
Our photographer, Andy (on the left), kinda reminds me of Malcolm Gets from Caroline and the City
This band sang in all English! The 3 of us understood, not sure if the rest did...
Cathedral Dom beer-- how ordained!
One of my fave German beers, next to Paffgen
and, here's Adam!
We must've stopped in about 5 liquor stores! As Andy says, we are drinking "Nazi beer"
I don't know which one of us drunkards came up with this idea, but it came out pretty cool!
Andy cracks me up...he is so weird (which, unfortunately, is what I'm strangely attracted to)
You know, in Europe, even at the most trendy of clubs, you can never escape the fact that they will always play horrific American music from a decade ago.
We still had fun though! Especially, doing dance offs!
Adam is starting to get wasted...
For some reason, they played a lot of disco
Awww what a fun night full of new friends and really good memories (Adam is full blown wasted here)
