August 30, 2008:
*Woke up with headache at 2pm
*Ate Chinese food
*Took a 3.5 hour walk
*Ginger Rogers & Fred Astaire Dancing House by Frank Ghery
*Dinner with Pavel, Martina and friends
Our last day in Prague
One of last night's stops
Always a massive crowd...but I love people! The more the merrier, especially when pointy elbows dig into my side and sweaty skin touches mine. The joys of skin-on-skin contact with strangers.
In search of Frank Ghery's Dancing House, we took a nice little walk through the street of Prague.

Adam carries his puppet all around town
Ahhh, memories of....yesterday.
For dinner, Adam and I took the subway to the outskirts of Prague to meet up with Pavel and his friends. We were no longer in the tourist section of Prague, so it was nice to mingle with the true locals, eat cheap local fare and stand out like a sore thumb.
At dinner:
*I ordered the duck. It was so yummy!
*This old guy stared at me from 9:30pm-12:30am. Adam took plenty of pictures. It was getting a bit creepy.
*Pavel's friends had some hilarious stories, some of which included:
*Blowing up a picture of a friend's ex-gf on a projector screen as a joke to the bf, only to find that the gf came home to it, which then prompted her to lock herself in the bathroom for hours, eventually leading to her being committed to an insane asylum! (This really happened!)
*Another friend carries wallet-sized photos of all his FWBs. He had about 4 or 5 pictures on him!
Subway ride to meet Pavel and company for dinner. This dog reminds me of Scruffles. I miss my Potato
Mmmmm... honey-glazed duck on a bed of sauerkrat with dumplings
Taken with Pavel and Martina
I would've enjoyed my meal more if this guy wasn't staring at me the ENTIRE time!
August 31, 2008: LAST DAY
We woke up bright and early, had a Mercedes taxi take us to the airport and decided to eat some breakfast before flying back home. This trip was just an awesome experience, filled with everything travel has to offer-- new friends, great sights, delicious food, yummy beer, and a great party experience! Couldn't have asked for a better backpacking adventure. Thanks for reading this all the way through and for coming along on the journey.
xoxo,
Christina
