We love to travel, but we do it in bits and pieces. Hopefully this website will allow me to write down where we've been so far and what we've seen.

I've been to US on my own in 2001 and 2003. To Dallas, San Antonio, and San Francisco. But in 2005 I went to Rochester, MN and Dallas for work and then met up with Josh in San Francisco.
Dinner at Applebys in the one and only mall in Rochester: Apache Mall
in CA we went to the Muir Woods to see the redwood forest, Monterrey for the Acquarium, obviously the Golden Gate bridge lookouts, but my most most favorite place was the Point Reyes Lighthouse.
I absolutely love lighthouses. Having only seen one before in Port Dickson, Josh and i decided to rent a car and go to Point Reyes. It was a beautiful drive and we enjoyed the last bit specially when we were driving on a peninsula with the ocean on both the sides.
driving along
i love lighthouses..and they love me back
the walk down to the lighthouse was a bit daunting..like a million steps to and fro..and i kept wondering how isolated that place must have been in those days...upon reading the info there it seems that the lighthouse keepers at Point Reyes used to become crazy after a while due to the isolation and gloominess of the place...COOOOOOL...
million steps..just like i told you !
after Dallas and Rochester, I simply loved SFO. We walked a lot up and downhill, everything was so mixed up, the vibe was amazing..and I also got to hang out with my baby niece for the first time so all in all a fun trip.
in Monterrey..streets of Steinbeck
