The cross country road trip that has failed to materialize for 3 years but finally, fulfilled in the year of 2007. Two (crazy) girls set out one early Tuesday morning and in their journey's wake, meet transvestites, cute boys, get bitten by mosquitoes, get pierced with rusty nails and squirted in the eye with 'porn sausage', hang with bums and riffraffs at Union Station....

Driving through Colorado had its moments. Some of the scenery were of stretches of depleted and barren land; others, had gorgeous views of the mountains and other state treasures.
While driving, Jen and I kept ourselves amused with our all-time favorite game: Who could come up with the more disgusting hypothetical question?
On this leg of the trip, we asked each other:
WOULD YOUR RATHER...?
Pretty much, this went on for hours...
Beautiful mini sunflowers
A lone and abandoned teepee
A lot of road construction
Another one of those old-skool gas stations
Bug guts splattered all across our bumper
Butterflies mating
WORST Chinese food Jen and I have EVER eaten in our entire lives.
Jen and I stopped at this Chinese restaurant for lunch because we missed Asian food so much, thereby making a really bad decision in doing so.
I have never in my entire life seen red fried rice or a ketchup bottle at a Chinese restaurant, but here in the middle of Colorado, that's what we saw. We were so hungry at this point, we decided $5.95 for all-you-can-eat would be worth it, but midway through the second plate, we just couldn't stop laughing at how miserable the food was.
Sadly, our favorite item at the Chinese Buffet
Adding to our 'hypothetical game', we asked:
It was a no brainer:
McDonald's
Lovely fields of flowers
In Denver...
This guy gets sprayed with dust
Drive up to Buffalo Bill's grave
Buffalo Bill Museum
Buffalo Bill's Grave
Colorado Rockies
Ah, so relaxing
The cute little boy that took a picture of us, then demanded we take a picture of him (he's the one wearing the dress)
Asian cowboys-- I have no neck
Switch
Best scenic route on this road trip thus far
Amazing beyond words
