Day 86 - July 28
Now there was some time left to visit the "Lonely Planet South American Stars"
To go from Salta to Buenos Aires on one trip was a little bit too long and so I decided to go to Mendoza.
The bus trip was very long, around midday I arrived in Mendoza. On the morning there was a landscape like in the Outback of Australia.
Mendoza is a very relaxed city. Everywhere are street cafés and the people are very nice. So I walked around, had some food and of course a coffee in a street café.
On the evening I met some Argentinians and Americans in the hostel for supper and drinking.
Day 87 - July 29
The first half day I used to explore Mendoza with all its Plazas and parcs.
The afternoon I did a wine trip I booked in the hostel. We went to Lopez, a very big wine company with a full automatic machine to fill the bottles.
Then we went to a small company where the chef told us everything about his wine in english.
At the end we went to an olive oil factory.
On the evening I eat very good steak, the national food of Argentina.
Day 88 - July 30
This day I did a bike tour. In the hostel I rented a bike for one day. So I did a tour into the wine area with its long wine fields. The tour was really great and relaxing.
On the evening I had to go on the next bus trip to Buenos Aires, but only one night away.
