Day 73 - June 15
Today I went with Grace by bus to Pisac in the Sacret Valley where we walked up to the Inca Citadel. When you walk up you see much more then by taking a taxi. You see a lot of inca teracce landscape and an old inca town.
In the afternoon we drove back to Cusco and visited the Museo de Arte y Monasterio de Santa Catalina and the Museo de Arte Popular.
On the evening I visited the Cathedral. You have to pay entrance for visiting a church. The church is in an XTREME Baroque style. Jesus with a golden thorns crown with a golden garb with golden nails on a golden cross with a golden sign.
Day 74 - June 16
In the night Grace felt completely bad. We both have eaten chicken with french fries and salad the evening before and I had no problems.
But she wanted to go to Machu Picchu this day and we had to say good bye on the early morning.
My plan was to go to to Tarabamba in the Sacret Valley and I had to change into another bus in Urubamba. In the bus I met Annemiek and Karen from England and Dutchland and we walked up to the salinas. They are really interesting to see and at the top we made an all-what-you-can-find-in-a-backpack-picnic and Annemiek from Dutchland loved my cheese bread
Strengthened from this meal we walked back down to stop the next full bus to Ollantaytambo. With about 20 people in a minibus and all luggage on the roof we arrived in Ollantaytambo soon where we visited another Inca town.
On the evening I took the train to Aguas Calientes near to Machu Picchu. A cheap hostel was found there quickly from a mediator on the platform.
