Auckland - City of Sails

Well, I´ve had a very warm welcome here in Auckland, thanks Andy! :-)

Apart from the weather (rain, rain and oh, more rain... and being bit chilly) I really like Auckland. Great views and some really nice beaches. I love being by the ocean but am also impressed by the interesting buildings in the city. I´m also curious what the rest of New Zealand will have in store for me. Beautiful countryside, bays and my beloved marine life

On Wednesday, August 20 I made my way to the city center of Auckland by train. From Papakura, the southern suburb where Andy lives, it takes about 50 minutes and with a day ticket it costs 10 NZ$, bout 5 Euro.
