Cross Country Road Trip- USA

Travel time: August 2007  |  by Christina E.

Virginia

8.11.03:

We pretty much took turns napping while the other drove and on this went for a total of 19 hours until we arrived to New York.

We got bitten by mosquitoes in Alabama and Georgia, stopped for a quick night's rest somewhere in the Peachy State, then continued driving through Tennessee and into Virginia the next morning. Virginia doesn't have much to see, but it does have beautiful mountains and the air is brisk.

We were however, astonished at the fact that the McDonald's there didn't have orange juice available. Huh? Or as Jen likes to say "Huh? What? Potato?" for things that just don't make any sense.
