The last two days we were wandering around in bangkok... went to chinatown and also to the lumpini tower to change my flight ticket. the office of air garuda was closed of course... hmmm... but yeah... can't help it. Yesterday I went to the haircutter and got my hair fixed which was still messed up from india. this was really great. I got shampooing and the cutting, a facial massage and masks (1 hour) for 7 euro... that was great... and it was my birthday present from chris... so I really enjoyed the luxus... The new years eve evening we went out on the koa shan road and we were wandering around a bit. I looked around a bit and I saw an old friend of mine from saalfeld... that was great. I went over to him and we were really happy to see each other. we went for some drinks and celebrated new years eve. chris and he went home quite early. Hesdo (the friend of mine) had to catch a really early train and he still had to pack and stuff. so in the end I was on my own... wandering around the koa shan road... I was looking around and there were so many people... it was feeling sometimes like the love parade in berlin. At 12 o'clock there was nothing much... no crackers, no fireworks,... just some screaming people but that was it. quite unspectecular... but at least I can say that I have celebrated new years eve in bangkok once in my life... So and with this I wish everybody a nice 2005, loads of luck and health...
