Marc & Nora ROUND THE WORLD 2005/2006 - Join us!

Travel time: September 2005 - July 2006  |  by marc and nora L.

Australia - Down under: The Blue Mountains

After Leaving the Gold Coast and another luxurious week at Hazel & Tony's house we headed South to Sydney to sell the van. Before we got to Sydney we made a quick 2 day detour to the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains National PArk which lies to the West of Sydney. There were some really beautiful views and dramatic landscapes. We took the 'SKYWAY' cable car ride 270m above an ancient ravine of the Jamison Valley. Then we took a few km walk down the Giants Stairway and through beautiful rainforest until we arrived at the 'SCENIC RAILWAY' which they tell us is the steepest incline railway in the world.

Next day Sydney to put on our Arthur Daily hats and sell the van.....
