The cross country road trip that has failed to materialize for 3 years but finally, fulfilled in the year of 2007. Two (crazy) girls set out one early Tuesday morning and in their journey's wake, meet transvestites, cute boys, get bitten by mosquitoes, get pierced with rusty nails and squirted in the eye with 'porn sausage', hang with bums and riffraffs at Union Station....

After emptying our bladders at Shreveport and gathering tons of brochures and maps, we were on our way to our much anticipated destination: New Orleans!

What a cool-lookin' bridge
So somewhere between our New Mexico and Texas drive, we managed to acquire a 'lucky bug' (actually, several) on our windshield wipers. Through rain and heavy winds, the bug continued to remain by our side and watched over us during our lengthy drives.
We named him 'Lucky'.
