The most popular question people ask us about our trip is: "Which place did you like best?"
So simple the question may be so difficult is the answer. We have seen so many different places, cultures, landscapes...they are simply incomparable as they differ so substantially...how could we possibly compare the rich and developed country(/continent) Australia with a poor and underdeveloped country such as Bolivia is?!
Every country we have been to was special and in every country we have fantastic memories.
We both love Thailand as we adore the kindness of the people. For us Westerners they seem to be poor but they are rich in kindness and pride which we dont seem to be.
Singaporeans are diverse - very Western but very traditional at the same time. We definitely like to go back to find out more about this manifold culture.
Australia is fantastic as it is just the most different continent/country you can imagine when coming from Europe. Tropical Rainforests, Impressive Deserts, Amazing Beaches, Huge Forests, too many different things to name it all. But what makes Australia even more special are its people!Aussies are fantastic - we adore them! Easygoing, funny, relaxed...we have never received as many invitations from complete strangers as we did in Australia. We both thought we knew how hospitality looks like - how wrong we were. Aussies redefine the term hospitality, it is just amazing!
New Zealand - an amazing place as well. Naturewise probably more interesting than Australia as it is so many-sided. Amazing how diverse this small country is! New Zealand was like a fantasy film and we felt like being put into this vast scene...breathtaking, it really was!
