It's nice to read your whole blog.. and it really reminded me alot of when I worked for Toi's Tour.. I can just imagine myself in every places you'd gone to.. Hence, Kanchanaburi is frankly a paradise alike place to visit.. Too bad they didn't offer any tour to go see the DAM, located 3 kilometres from the falls because from there you'd get to see majestic views of the lake and mountains..

I presume you are a pro photographer. Some of those shots are fabulous.
We try to spend 3 to 4 months a year in CM but as usual, one falls into a habitual rut. Took your postings to put new oomph into the place. We are setting out again at the beginning of Feb '06 for another 3 months and will , no doubt, be enjoying CM a little more, thanks to you.

Wow. Off to Thailand in 7 weeks for 5th visit am heading to Kanchanaburi to meditate with the monks and see the tigers. You phot is sensational hope to get one exactly the same.

Great travelogue, lovely clear descriptions and pictures - really enjoyed it. Also it's been really useful as my wife, aunt and kids (daughter also thirteen) will be visiting Chiang Mai later this year, so some new ideas I hadn't thought of (eg Wororot markets, foot massages). Thanks again for an excellent and really enjoyable travelogue.
