Christmas was in Kolding which is about 2 hours south of Arhus. It was great to have a traditional Danish christmas (which is celebrated on the 24th in Denmark). Dinner was with Lotte´s son Morten (Julius´s cousin) and his family. We stayed the night in a motel nearby and then returned on the 25th for breakfast.
My only regret was that it didn´t snow.
Morten and Laurits.
Awwww.
they use real trees and real candles . . . a fire just waiting to happen!
Julius showing the kids how it is done.
and again . . .
Dinner was a fine affair. We feasted on roast duck, roast pork, stewed apples, a big sausage, caramelised potatoes and boiled potatoes, kael, red cabbage and lashings of gravy.
Some very eager boys.
Getting ready to dance and sing around the Christmas tree.
