On April 6, 2004, I departed from the LAX airport bound for Rome's Fiumicino. Five days later, I meet up with Jene and we continue our journey backpacking throughout Western Europe.

By the end of our trip, we would have visited a total of: 4 countries; 21 cities-- all made possible due to a fellow backpacker's tip on how to stretch our days on the Eurail pass...
