After all the fun times in Rio, we were due for a bit more nature-loving. Unfortunately Dom and Michelle were unable to join us so it was back down to 5 . . .
We hired a driver and spent a day going to see the big dam (yawn), the Brazillian side of the Iguazu Falls and the bird park.
Kelli at the very unintersting dam
The most exciting part of the dam
are you bored?
After our dam trip which made me feel like I was doing some lame school excursion, we were off to see the falls.
Funny little critters that are all over the park
There they are (at least part of them)
The bird park was possibly the most facinating part of the excursion. There was an unbelievable variety of birds and heaps of macaws, tucans, butterflies (I know they aren´t birds), parrots, etc, etc, etc
Pink Flamingo
Tucan
anyone seen the fruit loops?
Below is a series of photos where Julius has his button eaten off by a macaw.
¨Hey Carolina, I have a big bird on my shoulder!¨
¨Ummmm. . . can you get him off me, I think he is trying to eat my button¨
Uh oh!
Our driver as we found him coming out of the bird park.
