Wow! I can't believe it but I'm really in New York City. Still not sure if I'm doing the right thing but there is no turning back now.

The flight wasn't as bad as I expected. The coach journey from Berlin to London was much worse. Its 8pm local time now and I'm absolutely knackered, no wonder for my body it's already 2am European time. I'll be off to bed soon, wonder how I will sleep in a hostel. Have only done that a few times before.

From the airport I took a free shuttle bus to Howard Beach subway station and took the #A train into New York City. It might have been helpful if I would have studied the subway map a little bit better. I ended up at 129th Street as the #A train does not stop on every station. I had to change trains to go Downtown again with the #D train. I had to walk quite a bit from the station to the hostel but arrived there eventually. I'm staying in 6 bed dorm sharing with 3 girls and 2 guys.

Today I just wandered a little bit up and down the Broadway. Don't know yet what I'll be doing tomorrow. I might do the walking tour which is offered by the hostel.

I'll try to stay awake for little bit longer, otherwise I'll wake up pretty early in the morning.
