Thailand

Travel time: December 2006 - January 2007  |  by Christina E.

Phuket: Kata Beach

Heading to Kata Beach, and closer to the Phi Phi Islands, we observed more beautiful beaches, and not tainted with purple umbrellas and lounge chairs like the ones we saw in Patong.

In Kata beach, H and I rented snorkeling fins and waited until it was time to dock our speedboat to head for the Phi Phi Islands. The weather was nice and hot, not cloudy at all, so we were very happy to see the islands in such great conditions.

We sail along Kata beach and cruise over to the Phi Phi Islands.

Our group is a delightful, and quiet bunch
H: except for the damn French family that took forever to come back to the boat every time. Courtesy suggestion to travelers: if you are in a large group, you dont have to be the first person back but just dont make the guide have to come hunt you down every time we have to leave somewhere because you lag horribly.
