Siem Reap
Soooo, Siem Reap isn't a very exciting town, but we were in the mood to have a few days doing nothing. We did make it to the butterfly garden, but the days were insanely, oppresively, irresitibly hot. Much sitting around whining about the heat.

flutterby.
The butterfly garden was small, but educational, via the creepy owner guy. Very... earnest. About butterflies.

What else? There was some impressively weird weather in Siem Reap. Hot and sunny.. and sometimes rainy at the same time.

Eventually, it was time to head back to back to Bangkok, via 12 hour bus ride. Yes, I dreaded it. And it was a bit of a fiasco.
Our bus was supposed to pick us up from our GH at Seven a.m. Come 8:30, I was on my way to the travel agency to yell at someone. Naturally, that's when they showed up in their rickety old rust heap of a minibus. And I got to sit in the fold down seat in the aisle. On the second bus, a beautiful big A/C rig, I managed to not get a seat AGAIN! Despite all this, it actually wasn't too bad a trip.
